Beta Club Promotional Materials:

  • This is a remote opportunity where members can create promotional materials to receive service hours!

  • This includes creating Instagram posts, flyers, brochures, and more. 

  • Members also have the ability to submit a video talking about why you joined Beta Club, what your favorite part of Beta club is, and other details relating to Beta. 

  • 2 promotional materials counts for 1 hour of service. 

Studyist:

  • Studyist is a nonprofit organization which is aiming to aid high school students by providing them with a variety of free study resources and volunteer hours

  • This is a remote opportunity where students can become volunteers by applying for roles such as content creators, revisers, region representatives, essay editors, and more. 

  • This is a great opportunity for those looking for a resume booster or internship-like service opportunities. 

Project Gutenberg:

  • This is a remote opportunity that offers volunteer positions for those interested in proofreading eBooks

  • Specific service opportunities include proofreading an eBook by procuring eligible paper books, or burning CDs and DVDs for people without Internet access.

Be My Eyes: 

  • This organization aims to help blind or low-vision people by using sighted volunteers.

  • You can sign up to be a volunteer or help translate their app into different languages. Volunteers can help by checking expirations dates, distinguishing colors, reading instructions, or navigating new surroundings.

TeensGive: 

  • Teens give is an organization that allows teens to volunteer by tutoring students from underserved communities virtually.

  • Complete the application on their website to apply to be a TeensGive tutor.

TED Talk Translator: 

  • Do you know another language or like listening to TED talks? If so, TED talk translation would be a great volunteering opportunity to put on your resume!

Youth Marketing Program: 

  • The Youth Marketing Program is a student-run organization that provides businesses and nonprofits access to completely free marketing services that they need, by pairing them with a team of capable, professionally trained students.

Hospital Art: 

  • Located in Woodstock, Georgia

  • Volunteers help put the finishing touches on paintings before they are donated.

  • Individual volunteers are taken as well as groups of up to 40 volunteers.

North Fulton Community Charities: 

  • Located in Roswell, Georgia 

  • Opportunities including volunteering at thrift shops as well as food pantries. 

Children's Restoration Network: 

  • Located in Roswell, Georgia 

  • This organization works with over 6,700 homeless children and 1,200 homeless mothers in order to provide them with the support and resources they need to break the cycle of homelessness. 

FurKids:

  • FurKids helps with thousands of pet rescues and adoptions, volunteer opportunities, parties, meetings, special events–all contributing to saving thousands of animal lives every year.

North Fulton Recycling Center: 

  • Help clean up our community through a variety of events! Through this organization, volunteers can help dispose of waste, provide residents with the opportunity to recycle, and reuse large bulky items that are not normally accepted by waste haulers, and more.

United Nations Volunteer: 

  • Apply for several opportunities in the UNV Global Talent Pool!
